After completing her B.Tech. in Electronics Engineering from Savitribai Phule Pune University and her master's degree in Computer Engineering from the Maharashtra Institute of Technology, she initially assisted behind the scenes in the production of Brahma Kumaris television programs. In 2007, she was asked to step in front of the camera for the series Awakening with Brahma Kumaris, which aired on the Aastha channel and brought her widespread fame.
