Khushboo Patani is an Indian Army veteran, best known as the older sister of actress Disha Patani. She was born on November 23, 1991, to Jagdish Singh Patani and Padma Patani in a Kumaoni Rajput family in Bareilly, Uttar Pradesh, India. Khushboo also has a younger brother named Suryansh Patani.

She attended BBL Public School, Bareilly, and later completed her degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering from DIT College of Engineering, Greater Noida.
Her father, Jagadish Singh Patani, is a former police officer and served as Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP), and her mother, Padma Patani, worked as a health inspector. Her brother Suryansh Patani is dating Harshita Singh Rajput.
After completing her studies, Khushboo passed her national exams and began serving as a lieutenant in the Indian Army in March 2013. She will retire in 2024 with the rank of major.
Khushboo Patani was previously in a relationship with musician Sahil Kumar, keyboardist and lyricist for the Delhi-based indie boy band Twin Strings. Sahil founded the band with his twin brother Sagar Kumar (guitarist) in 2017 when he was an engineer. Manav (lead singer) and Mohit Deen (percussionist) joined later. Sahil is now married to Pavitra Krishnan.
