Dr. Puneet Kumar Goel is, without a doubt, a very successful 1991 batch officer of the Indian Administrative Service (IAS) who is serving the AGMUT (Arunachal Pradesh–Goa–Mizoram–Union Territories) cadre. He was born on 3 August 1966 in Delhi, cleared the UPSC Civil Services Exam at the age of 24, and thus started his public service career by being appointed on September 15, 1991. He has served in different states and UTs for more than thirty years, and through the years, he has earned the reputation of being a very honest, knowledgeable, and excellent government official. Currently, he is the Chief Secretary of the State of Goa, where he is a key player in the enforcement of policies, the running of government departments, and the growth of the state.
