She got married to Akun Sabarwal in 2004 who is also a civil servant. They have a son and a daughter, Nanak and Bhuvis Sabarwal. She is quite popular amongst people and also the first woman to be selected as CM secretary. She earns around 67,000 per month and has a net worth of around 3cr.
