They were dating each other for quite some time, but whenever he used to speak about getting married she used to brush him off. He was under severe pressure from his orthodox family to get married soon. They wanted the actress to quit working & convert to their religion, which the actress wasn't okay with. He used to buy her expensive gifts & used to speak to her about how the shelf life of TV celebs is short, how many TV stars turn into escorts when they stopped getting work, for the sake of convincing her to get married, but she did not relent.
Eventually, the male TV celeb's family got fed up & got him married to a girl of their choice. He was apparently fed up with waiting for the actress to make up her mind. He is now blessed with two children.
