This outsider actress became a star after starring a critically acclaimed hit film directed by the wife of an A-list superstar. She has since been seen in an OTT movie playing the role of a lesbian doctor opposite a relatively senior actress renowned for her acting chops. As per a source, this actress has been getting close to a powerful man. This powerful man has been nudging a studio boss to cast her in projects & recommend her to other filmmakers. The actress recently quit a renowned romantic dramedy filmmaker's next project in favor of an OTT film. This is shocking news, as she was excited to work with the filmmaker & was even spotted with him at a hill station near Mumbai. The reason behind her quitting the movie is still not clear. A rival female star's [R tried to run a negative PR campaign against her, but fans did not engage with their negative posts. 

The actress has been linked to one of her co-stars. Our sources are yet to confirm whether the rumors are true. Several studios are keen on working with her. Her debut movie got her noticed & her OTT movie too has been well received. But her deciding to opt for an OTT movie instead of a bankable filmmaker's theatrical release might end up backfiring in the long run. While she may prefer content driven movies, it is the commercial movies which really help in widening the reach of an actor.
