A superstar whose last release was a blockbuster, was signed on to star in the next installment of a blockbuster action franchise. The previous installment in the franchise released more than a decade back, but has a cult following among Bollywood fans. It was also announced that two actors who were part of all the previous movies in the franchise won't be seen in the next installment. New actors were to be cast. As per a source, a talented filmmaker who has directed several movies for the studio bankrolling the project, will be directing the 4th installment. The filmmaker who earlier used to direct movies bankrolled only by the studio, branched out to make movies under his own banner. But his last release - an action film starring two big names & co-produced by a top producer bombed at the box office. It is brave of the studio boss to choose the filmmaker to direct the next installment in the prestigious franchise.

The film which is likely to release sometime next year will be eagerly awaited by fans. Many names were rumored to star as the next protagonist in the heist franchise, but it was the talented superstar who is now Bollywood's biggest star who managed to bag the movie. The superstar has an envious lineup of movies. It is likely to propel his stardom further & cement his position as Bollywood's biggest movie star. But will his movies be able to challenge the record numbers posted by the'pan India' superstars?
