Bollywood Blind Item: Producer Sacks Superstar From Two Movies

Showbiz is a ruthless industry where equations change every Friday. While the ones who pass the Friday test are flooded with acting job offers, brand endorsement deals, etc, the ones who don't have to face the embarrassment of getting sacked from projects. Take the case of this superstar who has been part of the industry for more than three decades now. He was the most bankable name before the pandemic, but he hasn't been able to deliver a single hit post-pandemic. All his big-budget movies have been major box office bombs. His latest release got decent footfalls but is considered an underperformer because of its gargantuan budget. As per a source, a filmmaker turned producer & studio boss has sacked the superstar from two big-budget movies. One project was a folklore horror & the other was to be directed by a reputed filmmaker with whom the superstar had worked in the past.

The superstar has bounced back from his low phases in the past. No star has been able to survive for three decades in the industry without going through a low phase. But the superstar is now in his late 50's. Will he be able to bounce back at this age? Considering his acting range & dedication towards his craft, we are confident that he will. If he doesn't, he will be relegated to playing character roles in movies starring younger but more bankable names. Not being the biggest star on set is not something he will be okay with.
