Bollywood Blind Item: South Indian Studio Rewards Superstar

This superstar recently starred in a hit movie that he produced. He has now made his movie available on a social media platform behind a paywall. He will be seen in a cameo in a South Indian movie starring an A-list superstar with fans across the globe. Their movie is clashing with the sequel to an action blockbuster movie, which stars two action superstars - again, one from Bollywood & another from South. As per a source, the studio producing the South Indian movie will be monetarily rewarding the Bollywood superstar for helping them. The Bollywood superstar called up a national theatre chain & threatened them not to bend over & give an equal number of screens to his movie. This irked the studio boss producing the sequel to the action blockbuster, who wanted the maximum number of screens for his movie.

Big movies clashing during big holidays like Independence Day, Diwali, Christmas, etc, is very common. Nobody wants to back out from releasing their movies during these holidays, as movies are assured a significant spike in initial collections if they release their movies during this period. This leads to egos getting bruised. The multiple movies that release together on these big days end up eating each other's business.
