Bollywood Blind Items: Budget Of Bollywood Epic Crosses 900cr!

A big budget Bollywood movie based on a revered God  who life was a lesson on Dharma is in the making, The movie boasts of a stellar cast that includes some top names from Bollywood & regional cinema. The hero who plays the role of the King who has been worshipped for more than 5000 years, is going through an awesome phase at the box office. The heroine is a South Indian actress who enjoys an admirable fan following & is known for her simplistic beauty. In a world full of botox & cosmetic surgeries, the heroine's simplicity is a breath of fresh air. The epic will be keenly awaited by fans across the country & is sure to break box office records upon release irrespective of its acceptance by the movie-going public. But what left us befuddled was the movie's budget. As per a source, the movie's budget has now crossed 900cr!!! The budget is for the first installment alone & not for the sequel. It is easily Bollywood's most expensive movie ever made. But will the gamble pay off?

The hero had claimed that he had given up his vices while he was shooting for the epic, but he was seen indulging in several vices while at a high profile wedding. News of him giving up his vices was just a PR gimmick. We had earlier written about him scouting for financiers for the sequel of another big budget movie. He surely has a lineup to die for & may well end up toppling the reigning triumvirate from their perch if things go as planned.
