Bollywood Blind Items: Producer Selling His London Studio To Recoup His Losses

Blind Item

Filmmaking is an extremely risky business. Many producers have become bankrupt & have been forced to sell their jewellery, real estate, empty their bank accounts, etc. A top producer who has been part of the industry for more than three decades is facing a similar situation. His last production cost him hundreds of crores to make, but bombed badly upon release. There were rumors of him selling his office to repay creditors. His son recently got married to a mainly South movies actress & his daughter-in-law was quickly labeled as 'manhoos' (unlucky) by industry folk. An A-list star was about to shoot at his studio in London. But he changed his plans upon being told that they producer might sell the studio anytime soon to recoup his losses.

Another filmmaker-producer spoke recently about the tough times his parents faced post their movies flopping when he was barely in college. The producer in question was a hit producer in the 90's. But he has been giving one box office turkey after another after his fallout with a director who was his frequent collaborator in the 90's. There has been a lot of chatter about the source of his funding. He claims to have made his money from real estate, but industry folk have a different theory altogether. As per our sources, his son has fallen out with him after their last release bombed at the box office. It was his son who kept pushing him to produce the movie. It turned out to be the worst decision of their careers.

Can you guess the celebs we are talking about?
