Bollywood Blind Items: This Star Is Insecure Of Side Actors
A young heartthrob was thrown out of a movie recently. The movie was to be directed by a top filmmaker who is known to make critically acclaimed movies with hit music. A more senior & more bankable star has been cast in his place. The sacked actor was flying high after the blockbuster success of his horror comedy movie a few years back. As per a source, he had become arrogant & was acting pricey. But the failure of his last release made the producer rethink about casting him. While the movie was directed by a renowned filmmaker with a background in making documentaries, it flopped badly upon release & the actor has been squarely blamed for its failure. The heartthrob excels in romantic comedies & his last release was an action biopic. He worked hard & even got into shape for the role. But the audience wasn't impressed. It didn't help that the director of the upcoming movie wasn't convinced that the actor could pull off the role of a gangster during their acting workshops. The source further informed us that the heartthrob's insecurity is at a different level altogether. He asks his PR team to not let the side actors hog the limelight! There has been a lot of murmur about his insecure nature.
The filmmaker wanted to cast the heartthrob in movies that were supposed to star a young action hero going through a lean phase at the box office. But now that the heartthrob himself has failed to deliver, the producer must be left wondering about whom to cast in his movies. Such is the reality of showbiz - an actor with a thriving career becomes a "risky" choice after the failure of just 1 movie. On the other hand, a single hit can make producers line up outside the homes of these actors. Fortunes change every week. It is not a career option meant for the faint hearted!
