The cheating version is what even industry insiders believe is the truth. The groom was caught cheating by the bride & her parents. This led to a huge altercation between them, followed by the bride calling off the wedding & which led to the bride's father having a heart attack. The bride's father has been hospitalized. The bride is in no mood to get married to her BF of several years & is eager to see her father recover. The groom's parents, meanwhile, are giving it a different spin - they are claiming that the marriage has only been postponed & that it will happen once the bride's father recovers & is brought back home. They are hoping that they will agree to the marriage once the bride's father regains his health & is in a better space mentally.

Be it commoners or celebs, it is heartbreaking to catch your daughter's BF cheating right before the day of their marriage & having the wedding called off. The fact that the whole nation would be gossiping about the incident only adds to the shame. Our sympathies are with the cricketer's family at this moment.
