IND vs AUS ODI: Ashwin In Samson Out, Check Out Full Squad

IND vs AUS ODI: Ashwin in and Samson out

India is going to take on the mighty Australians after a successful time in the Asia Cup 2023. BCCI announced two squads for the team; they boost the team with the veteran Indian off-spinner Ravichandran Ashwin’s inclusion. On the other hand, Sanju Samson once again turned unlucky, as he did not find space in the team.

Team India is going to face off against the Aussies on September 22, and BCCI picked one team for the first two ODI matches and one for the final match. They have rested starting players from the first two matches.

Senior players are back in the team for the final ODI match, along with wrist spinner Kuldeep Yadav. Rohit will be the skipper of the team, and Hardik Pandya has been rewarded with the duties of vice captain.

The return of Ravichandran Ashwin against Australia

The magical spinner has been given his chance to represent India in the blue outfit, which is a good tactic from BCCI. He last featured in any white ball series was against South Africa almost a year ago, but the team and skipper are still happy to have him because they have trust in his skill and experience that he has gained for a long time now.

Rohit Sharma also expressed in his recent interview that intelligent and experienced cricketers like him do not need matches; they can do the trick with their experience. Although Ashwin has good numbers in the ODI format and experience, he has represented India in more than 100 matches.

Sanju Samson, the unlucky man

Once again, dashing wicketkeeper batsman Sanju Samson is ingnored for the series against Australia, even though he has good records in the format. He was in reserve for the team in the Asia Cup 2023 but did not get a chance in the World Cup squad and against Australia as well.
