When Hae-won arrives on the island, he is astounded to discover that Bok-Nam is subjected to mental, physical, and sexual abuse. She begs Hae-won to assist her in leaving the island. But will she be able to assist her in escaping?

A Tale of Two Sisters is a Korean psychological thriller film about two sisters who, as the title suggests, return to their father's home and are confronted by a cruel stepmother. All of the events eventually lead back to a dark period in the family's history.

The virus, however, eventually takes over the priest. He nearly dies but miraculously recovers thanks to the infusion of vampire blood. Eventually, the pleasures of the flesh become his sole reason for living. The priest is now afflicted with vampirism. Can he give up his ascetic ways?

Will the family be able to resolve the situation or will they fall victim to something terrible?

She's still alive, isn't she? The family must track down the monster and rescue Hyun-Seo.

Three... Extremes is a collaboration of three Asian horror films titled Dumplings, Cat, and Box. Each segment was directed by a different director from three different countries, adding to the versatility. It is also a sequel to the 2002 film Three, with the same concept. The three short films are all one-of-a-kind and unforgettable. Dumplings were the most effective in my opinion, but all three films are excellent.

11•Whispering Corridors (1998)Even though Whispering Corridors is over two decades old, it remains one of the cornerstones of the Korean horror genre. It was released at a time whether n free expression was still relatively new in the country, and it serves not only as a chilling story but also as social commentary.

 

Following the suicide of a teacher at an all-girls school that is said to be haunted by a ghost, staff and students begin to vanish into thin air. This is a story that started it all in Korean horror, but whether or not its mystery is solved remains to be seen.

Who doesn't appreciate a good pair of heels, especially when they're free? Sun-Jae finds a beautiful pair of red high heels on the subway and takes them home, only to discover that they have a very dark secret.

 

It's a dark and twisted story about vanity and beauty based on Hans Christian Andersen's old fairy tale, which turns into a classic haunting.

Plastic surgery is a major theme in many Korean films, but in Cinderella, it is portrayed as a terrifying aspect. When one of her patients commits suicide before her daughter, a successful plastic surgeon and her daughter begin to notice strange things.

 

Another story about vanity and body image; for those afraid of body horror and gore, this is a rough one, but it's still terrifying.

 

15•The Quiet Family (1998)

 

Nothing is scarier than living in near-complete isolation from the rest of the world, as the Kang family is about to discover. As the entire family relocates to a remote mountain location for a business, they are overjoyed to receive their first customer.

 

However, when their first visitor commits suicide, the family decides to bury him quietly to avoid negative publicity. Unfortunately, this is only the beginning of The Quiet Family.
