7 Movies Where Salman, SRK, Aaamir Khan Worked Together Till 2022
In comparison to films in which the Khans team up, casting coups seem like a routine, everyday occurrence. Whether it's Aamir Khan and Salman Khan collaborating on a humour or Shah Rukh Khan and Salman kicking up an action storm, films starring more than one Khan become instant classics. Here are seven films in which the Khans collaborated, and we can't get enough of these famous actors.
Andaz Apna Apna
In the comedy classic, Aamir Khan and Salman Khan teamed up and made history. Andaz Apna Apna is arguably India's most successful cult hit. Set pieces and dialogue from the film are reproduced verbatim in everyday life. Andaz Apna Apna is the first film in which the Khan brothers collaborated. A sequel has even been rumoured to include Aamir Khan and Salman Khan. That's a fantasy realised.
Karan Arjun
Karan Arjun is to action films what Andaz Apna Apna is to comedy. With Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan, this masala movie is the essence of sleek, action-packed entertainment. The 'Mere Karan Arjun conversation' by Rakhee has already been inducted into the Internet Hall of Fame. The thought of Salman and Shah Rukh walking next to one other as brothers makes us feel like a billionaire.
Kuch Kuch Hota Hai
Kuch Kuch Hota Hai is primarily about Kajol and Shah Rukh Khan's love storey, with Rani Mukerji's love triangle giving a touch of magic. However, when Salman Khan makes a cameo appearance, the tone of the film shifts dramatically. There are casting coups and then there's the incredible possibility of having two Khans in the same frame. It's no surprise, then, that Salman received a Filmfare Award for this Karan Johar flick.
Hum Tumhare Hai Sanam
Hum Tumhare Hai Sanam is only the second film in which both Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan star. The jaded premise and treatment of this love storey / family drama starring Madhuri Dixit didn't work with the audience, despite the fact that the film featured both Khans on opposite ends and in direct competition. Scenes of Salman and Shah Rukh getting into heated arguments were also forgettable.
Har Dil Jo Pyaar Karega
Despite the fact that Har Dil Jo Pyaar Karega's love triangle was right out of melodrama land, the film had its moments. Salman Khan played a singer in the film, and his character gets caught up in a lot of misunderstandings. As things between Rani Mukerji and Preity Zinta settle down, Shah Rukh Khan makes a cameo appearance to bail him out and repay the Kuch Kuch Hota Hai favour.
Pehla Nasha
Pehla Nasha, a relatively forgotten film directed by newcomer Ashutosh Gowariker, was released in 1993. Deepak Tijori, Pooja Bhatt, and Raveena Tandon played the key roles in the film. The film also holds the distinction of being the only one in which Aamir Khan and Shah Rukh Khan appear in the same scene.
Dushman Duniya Ka
Brownie gestures to anyone who is familiar with this 1996 film starring Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan. Technically, they aren't in the movie together; SRK has a minor role while Salman Khan makes a fleeting appearance. The film's actual leads are Jeetendra and Sumalatha, however the film's poster was sold based on SRK and Salman's popularity as a pair. Only a few months had passed after Karan Arjun's smash hit.
