Ayushmann Khurana To Star In a Horror Movie

AYUSHMANN KHURANA is set to make an entry into MADDOCK HORRORVERSE with a Stand-Alone film which will go floors in MID-2023.

AYUSHMANN will play the role of a VAMPIRE in this VFX-Heavy film, which will be FOURTH Standalone Horror Comedy in DINESH VIJAN's Horrorverse after STREE, ROOHI and BHEDIYA. AMAR KAUSHIK, who directed STREE and soon to be released BHEDIYA, will collaborate as a DIRECTOR with Ayushmann Khurana again after their much successful maiden collaboration - BALA. The pre-production of this film will begin after the release of VARUN DHAWAN - KRITI SANON starrer BHEDIYA

DINESH VIJAN has earlier shelved 'MUNJHA' which was supposed to tell the origin story of 'STREE' and has got the storyline tweaked to develop it into 'STREE 2' which will star SHRADDHA KAPOOR in the lead and will be directed by ADITYA SARPOTDAR, which is expected to go on floors in this year and it is likely to be seen these FOUR Characters of their standalone film will cross path in movies to be made in future under the MADDOCK HORRORVERSE

AYUSHMANN has TWO Releases in this year - DOCTOR G, A Social Comedy set in a Medical College, which is expected to release in END of SEPTEMBER and ACTION HERO, an Action Comedy, which will release on DECEMBER 2. He will start shooting for DREAM GIRL 2, directed by RAAJ SHANDILYA in AUGUST 2022 and will then head to work with SAMANTHA RUTH PRABHU on a Social Comedy, bankrolled by DINESH VIJAN from JANUARY 2023, followed by shooting for this Horror Comedy in MID-2023.
