Delhi:Jacqueline Fernandez withdraws plea Seeking Permission to go to Bahrain
The next Cirkus movie, starring Bollywood actress Jacqueline Fernandez, is all prepared for release. The actress is once again in the news for her suspected role in the Sukesh Chandrasekhar money laundering case amid the marketing for the Rohit Shetty-directed film. Jacqueline had petitioned a Delhi court for authorization to go to Bahrain, the country of her birth, beginning on December 23, on behalf of the uninitiated.
Jacqueline arrived in Delhi's Patiala House Court on December 22 for the hearing on her case. The court remarked at the hearing, "You might withdraw the application and let the charge question be resolved first. If not, I will issue a judicial order, the judge declared.
After speaking with her attorneys, the Kick actress informed the court that she was withdrawing her motion "at this stage."
The Enforcement Directorate allegedly opposed her request during the brief proceedings, arguing that if she was permitted to travel overseas, she might not come back. She comes from abroad. Even though she already has a career here, she can pursue one elsewhere.
In her counterargument, the actress told the court that, prior to withdrawing her application, she had been granted permission to travel abroad while the investigation was proceeding. Fernandez stated, "My next date, in this case, is January 6," according to a report by PTI. Even though it's not my turn to argue on the sixth, I'll be back by Jan 5. I have never lacked cooperation and I never will, her attorney told the court.
Resuming the professional front, Cirkus, Jacqueline's upcoming movie, is scheduled for release on December 23. Ranveer Singh, Varun Sharma, Pooja Hegde, Johnny Lever, and Sanjay Mishra are among the other actors who make up the film's ensemble star cast.
