Exclusive: Raj & DK's Farzi, starring Shahid Kapoor is gearing up for a February 2023 premiere

After creating the Family Man franchise for Amazon Prime, Raj and DK are all prepared to launch their next project, Farzi on the digital platform.  While the plot of the series has been kept under wraps, it marks Shahid Kapoor's digital debut and rides on a formidable cast comprising of Vijay Sethupathi, Raashi Khanna and Kay Kay Menon.  It's touted as a criminal thriller. And now, we have exclusive knowledge that Farziis all set to premiere in the month of February.

Farzi set for a February 2023 premiere

Shahid Kapoor will make his digital debut in February 2023. The release plan is still being worked out, but Farzi is expected to be released for viewing by the end of the first quarter of 2023, based on a source close to the project, who also mentioned that the trailer and other marketing assets will start to rolling around a month before the film's premiere.

Shahid already has expressed his excitement for Farzi's digital debut at the launch. He said that the thing is so different from what is done in the movies. He is both nervous and excited. He has always wanted to try something new and different. This story and character reminds him of every film he has worked on. He can't wait to see what the audiences thinks.

Upcoming films featuring Shahid Kapoor

Shahid is currently shooting a Dinesh Vijan production with Kriti Sanon. It's a one-of-a-kind robotic-based romantic comedy set for a late 2023 release. Bloody Daddy, directed by Ali Abbas Zafar, is also planned for a direct to digital launch on Jio's new platform shortly. The actor is also working on Anees Bazmee's comedy, which is set to to go on floors around March of next year.
