Rakesh Roshan's production banner pays Rs 33 crore for commercial space!

Hrithik Roshan, a Bollywood actor, has recently been in the news for a variety of reasons, including his most recent film, Vikram Vedha. Aside from acting, Hrithik also co-owns a production company, FilmKraft Productions Pvt Ltd, with his producer father, Rakesh Roshan. The production company appears to be ready for an upgrade, as the father-son team has purchased four office units in Marathon Futurex in Mumbai's Lower Parel neighbourhood.

According to documents obtained by real estate data analytics firm CRE Matrix, FilmKraft Productions Pvt Ltd paid Rs 33 crore for four office apartments totaling 10,000 square feet in Mumbai's Lower Parel neighbourhood of Marathon Futurex. The commercial space is said to be 10,539 square feet in total. The office unit includes eight parking spaces.

According to reports, the agreement for sale was filed, and approximately Rs 2 crore in stamp duty was paid on the transaction. The sellers are Marathon Nextgen Realty Limited and Marathon Realty Private Limited.

Abhishek Kiran Gupta, CEO and Co-founder CRE Matrix, told MoneyControl about the prices of A-grade offices in Lower Parel, saying, "Sale of 10,539 sqft carpet area office grade Lower Parel office space satisfies an unsatisfied demand for high-quality office space. Carpet costs around 32,000 per square foot, which is very appealing given that housing projects in the same micromarket cost 50,000 per square foot."

Returning to Hrithik, he was most recently seen in Vikram Vedha, which also starred Saif Ali Khan. The audience responded positively to the film, which was released on September 30. The Pushkar-Gayathri-directed film was a remake of the same-titled Tamil film from 2017. Hrithik will next be seen in Fighter, alongside Deepika Padukone.
