After so much time Hindi films can be seen to hit cinemas. Brahmastra, drishyam 2,bhool bhulaiya 2 and more films have proved this statement and become the highest opening weekend grosser of 2022 so far.

1. Brahmastra 

Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor starred in the movie Brahmastra, which renewed Bollywood with its tremendous run at the box office and compiled Rs 120.75 crore in its opening weekend.

2. Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 

Kartik Aaryan and Kiara Advani featured in Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 which fascinated the audience and received Rs 55.96 crore in its opening weekend.

3. Drishyam 2

Ajay Devgn's starrer film Drishyam 2 also had an awful opening week. It managed to cash in on the curiosity of the mysterious killing case, stellar achievements, and grasping storyline. The picture obtained Rs 64.14 crore in its opening weekend.

 4.Ram Setu

Akshay Kumar was featured in the movie Ram Setu which again outlined the cash directories chiming and coined Rs 55.48 crore in its opening weekend.

 5. Samrat Prithiviraj 

Akshay Kumar's Samrat Prithviraj might have been deemed a big flop but it still managed to earn Rs 39.40 crore in the first three days of its release

6. Vikram Vedha 

Hrithik Roshan and Saif Ali Khan starred in the movie Vikram Vedha which also managed to achieve massive success at the box office and gained Rs 36.93 crore in its opening weekend.

7. Laal Singh Chaddha 

Though Laal Singh Chaddha was Aamir Khan's much-awaited later which turned into a dud, the bookings were arranged to retrieve Rs 37.96 crore in its early weekend.

8. Gangubai Kathiawadi 

Alia Bhatt was featured in the movie Gangubai Kathiawadi,  which was directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali. This movie came to be one of the early films to smash the box office jinx post-pandemic and earned Rs 39.12 crore in its entrance weekend.
