3. Untitled Gene Kelly Project (TBD)

Evans is stepping into a few musical shoes as well, as he is rumored to be playing Hollywood legend Gene Kelly in an impending untitled movie. Whilst a studio has not been attached to this movie yet, Evans is set to produce the movie with John Logan, who will also be writing the script for it. In addition to that, Rian Johnson, Ram Bergman and Mark Kassen will also be producing the movie through their company, T-Street Productions. This project is going to be the first reunion between Evans, Johnson and Bergman since 2019’s Knives Out, with its highly-anticipated sequel set to be released this December on OTT platform, Netflix.

According to Deadline, the outline for the project, conceived at first by Evans, will follow "a 12-year-old boy who works on the MGM lot in 1952 and begins to generate an imagined friendship with the legendary movie star Kelly while working on his next film." The amazing Gene Kelly was a larger-than-life figure, and it should be enthralling to see him depicted on-screen.
