When Akshay Kumar Gave Don't Mess with Kareena Kapoor Vibes to Saif Ali Khan

The Nawab couple of Bollywood, Saif Ali Khan, and Kareena Kapoor Khan has always been one of B-Town’s favorite couples. They started dating back in 2008, while shooting for director Vijay Krishna Acharya’s directorial debut, Tashan. They got married in 2012, which was one of the most glamorous weddings in the industry. While the couple has always been open about their relationship, one of the first people to sense their growing closeness was actor Akshay Kumar, who happened to play the lead in the couple’s first movie together, Tashan. Akki noticed their chemistry on set and gave Saif a valuable piece of advice regarding their relationship. And this interesting piece of information was shared by none other than Bollywood actress Kareena Kapoor Khan herself!

While speaking to Akshay Kumar’s wife, Twinkle Khanna (also known as Mrs. Funnybones), Kareena spilled this little incident on the Tashan set. Akshay gave Saif a "Don’t mess with Kareena" talk right after he sensed the two connecting. Quoting Kareena, Akshay’s exact words to Saif were, "Listen, tread carefully. They’re dangerous girls, and this is a dangerous family, dekh ke reh. " The actress further revealed that Akshay was also giving Saif a "don’t mess with her" vibe. Now coming to what our dashing Nawab had to say about this, Saif took Akshay’s advice politely and said that he would figure Kareena out.

While having this interesting conversation with Mrs. Funnybones, Kareena also revealed that she and Saif were supposed to do a few more films together, but they never actually ended up doing those since she always said no to them.
Although the film, Tashan, was a flop at the box office, it did work as the foundation for the lovely couple’s beautiful love story. It is evident that Akshay’s heads-up worked in favor of the couple, and Saif indeed figured out Kareena well. All of us love obsessing over the Pataudi family! After two years of marriage, Saif and Kareena welcomed their baby boy, Taimur, into their lives.
