Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan is known for his versatility and ability to transform into various characters on screen, but what’s perhaps equally impressive is his seemingly ageless appearance at 59. The actor recently made a candid revelation about his youthful looks during his appearance on The Great Indian Kapil Show, where he discussed the secret behind his appearance and why he doesn't follow conventional beauty routines.

In a behind-the-scenes clip from the show, Aamir Khan was asked how he manages to look so youthful at his age. In response, Khan downplayed any special efforts on his part, crediting his father’s genetics instead. He explained, "Abba jaan’s genes were good and I don’t deserve any credit in this. I don’t work out and I don’t even apply any cream on my face. In fact, I got to know what a shampoo is when I became an actor; otherwise, I used to use soap for everything. I don’t do a single thing to make myself look good. When a film comes, I work on my body for that film. I am very lazy. I don’t do anything."

His revelation drew laughter from the audience and was received with surprise, as many expected the actor to have a rigorous fitness or skincare regimen. Instead, Khan's laid-back approach to personal care seems to fly in the face of industry norms, which typically involve elaborate skincare routines and regular gym sessions.

In the same episode, Aamir Khan also discussed his hesitation in playing the character of Rancho in the iconic film "3 Idiots." He admitted that he initially thought the role might be a poor fit, given he was 44 at the time and was expected to play an 18-year-old college student. "I wasn’t even doing 3 Idiots because I thought the public would laugh at me as I was turning 44 and I am playing the role of an 18-year-old boy. It would be weird," he shared. However, director Rajkumar Hirani's persistence ultimately persuaded Khan to take on the role, leading to one of his most memorable performances.

Aamir Khan's humble approach to maintaining his youthful appearance, along with his candid stories about the challenges of his acting career, reflect a grounded personality. While his genetics may play a role in his youthful look, it's his talent and commitment to his craft that have made him one of Bollywood's most respected actors.
