Agneepath Movie Director, Cast and Crew

Introduction
Agneepath which was released in 1990 is still considered one of the top Bollywood movies which brought a new impact to Indian films. Often thought of as one of Prime Minister Vajpayee’s favourite films, this Mukul S. Anand-directed project made under Yash Johar’s production gathered a large audience due to strong actors’ performances, effective plots, and famous dialogues. It remains proof that Amitabh Bachchan remains active and relevant in the industry even up to the generation of moviegoers now.

Director and Producers
Director: Mukul S. Anand
Producer: Yash Johar
The movie Agneepath went on floors under the directorial vision of Mukul S. Anand, who had a bias towards grand visuals and style in his works and Yash Johar is credited for the superlative production of the film.

Main Cast
Most Indian audiences will be familiar with Amitabh Bachchan as Vijay Dinanath Chauhan.
Mithun Chakraborty in the role of Krishnan Iyer M. A.
Madhavi as Mary Matthew
I did not like Neelam Kothari as Siksha Chauhan, Vijay’s sister.
Rohini Hattangadi as Suhasini Chauhan (Munna’s mother/Vijay’s mother)
In leading role of Kancha Cheena, Danny Denzongpa
Alok Nath for the role of Master Dinanath Chauhan who plays the role of Vijay’s father.
The film’s soul in the character played by Amitabh Bachchan as Vijay Dinanath Chauhan is a consolidation of all acting prowess which fetched him a National Film Award for Best Actor. One cannot forget Krishnan Iyer M. A. played by Mithun Chakraborty’s character who gave a very different taste to the movie.

Supporting Cast
I like how Archana Puran Singh has a guest role as a Nurse and a friend to Mary.
Tinnu Anand as Inspector Gaitonde just as expected although sometimes I think the show could have been better if he had acted more like the actual character.
Politician cum artist Vikram Gokhale will portray the role of Commissioner M. S. Gaitonde.
Sharat Saxena as the Underworld Don – Usman Bhai
Goga Kapoor in the role of Dinkar Rao
As Inspector Shergill, Avtar Gill was very convincing and carried out his role as expected.
I especially liked the supporting characters and the cast hit the atmosphere of the movie depth and gave interesting twists to the characters’ relations.

Crew
Screenplay: Kader Khan, Santosh Saroj and
Dialogues: Kader Khan
