Alia Bhatt Revealed Her New Name On The Great Indian Kapil Show!!!

After two years of marriage, Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor have recently disclosed a big change in their life, her name along with Kapoor surname. The announcement that Alia has officially added Kapoor to her name, becoming Alia Bhatt Kapoor, was made in a recent teaser for the second season of The Great Indian Kapil Show that will release on Netflix. Alia Bhatt made hints that, after being married to Ranbir Kapoor, she had changed her name. Raha Kapoor, the actor's daughter, was born a few months after the actors' April 2022 marriage. Recently, when interacting with Sunil Grover on The Great Indian Kapil Show, Alia shocked her fans by introducing herself for the first time as "Alia Bhatt Kapoor."

"Bhatt-er pick your sides for this face-off..." was the tagline for the edited ad that Netflix posted on Instagram, including mom-actress Neetu Kapoor and actor Ranbir Kapoor as well. Alia, who previously appeared on the program with Ranbir and Neetu this year, will be seen promoting her next film Jigra. The subject of Alia's name was brought up in a lighthearted conversation with Sunil Grover, who was dressed as his character Dafli. After Sunil called her "Alia Bhatt" in his customary eccentric way, Alia corrected him, stating, "It's Alia Bhatt Kapoor."

Many people questioned if Alia was just joking in a lighthearted way or whether she had actually joined the group of Bollywood celebrities who changed their names after getting married in the comments section of the new commercial. After marrying musician Nick Jonas, Priyanka Chopra also adopted the surname Jonas and went as Priyanka Chopra Jonas on social media, whilst Aishwarya Rai became Aishwarya Rai Bachchan. Following her marriage to Saif Ali Khan, Kareena Kapoor also adopted the surname Kareena Kapoor Khan. "Amazing acting," a fan of Alia Bhatt said in response to a teaser for The Great Indian Kapil Show, implying that the star was kidding. One more person said, "The moment we were all waiting for..." "Whyyyyyyyyyyy?" another admirer questioned.

In addition to Jigra, that stars Vedang Raina alongside Alia is all set to release next month. After this Alia has a number of upcoming projects. She will co-star with Vicky Kaushal and Ranbir in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Love and War. Another on going project is alongside Sharvari Wagh, Alia is scheduled to make an appearance in Alpha as a spy.
