Even before the movie's premiere, the Ranbir Kapoor-starring picture "Animal" is shattering box office records with its advance booking sales figures. Box Office Worldwide reports that the movie has already sold over 1,30,000 tickets, surpassing Salman Khan's Tiger 3.
Cinepolis has sold more than 24,000 tickets to date, while PVR-INOX claimed selling 1,04,000 "Animal" tickets. Tiger 3, which was released on November 12, Diwali, also had a big opening. On the first day of the film's release, Wednesday, November 8, about 1,22,000 tickets were reserved in advance (more than 22,000 tickets were sold by Cinepolis and more than a million by PVR-INOX).
After seeing Ranbir Kapoor in a previously unseen persona in the teaser, fans are eager to see the movie. It's anticipated that the movie will have a good first day at the box office. Trade analysts are forecasting that the film starring Ranbir Kapoor and Rashmika Mandanna may make Rs 50 crore on its first day of release, according to sources in the media. Additionally, they projected that the movie may rank among the top five in advance sales in Hindi cinema history.
The movie, which broke records for advance ticket sales, stars Shah Rukh Khan in "Jawan," which sold 5.57 lakh tickets prior to its premiere. "Pathaan" followed with over 5.56 lakh tickets sold. Fans have reacted well to the picture in national chains, according to a report in Box Office Worldwide. Additionally, director Sandeep Reddy Vanga has previously established himself with a string of successful films, including "Arjun Reddy" and "Kabir Singh."
