Blind Item(Mumbai Mirror) – Sour Grapes – 30th May

Mumbai Mirror has published a blind item about a co-producer of a movie who was dropped from the project which went on to become a hit. She is now crying sour grapes.

The co-producer launched several films, several of which flopped. She was recommended to actors by a superstar(click here to read more)But thanks to her financial woes she had to drop out of several projects mid-way. The project in question was one of them. Luckily, the movie has garnered good reviews & has gone on to do decent business at the box office. IT SEEMS like the success of a recent film hasn’t gone down too well with its former producer. In a classic case of sour grapes, the producer has been sending out messages stating that one of the leading man’s earlier movies earned more than the one that released recently. And the messages are even accompanied by comparative stats. Oh well, things people do these days.
