Gone are the days when a woman was supposed to spend her whole life with just one man whom her parents chose. No matter how troubled, loveless or sorrowful her married life is, she had to tolerate all the pain and if she wanted to get separated, she had to go through unfavourable comments from society.
However, things have changed a lot now and women today don't shy away from raising their voices against any wrong thing. If they feel that they are not comfortable in a relationship despite making efforts, they try to free themselves from the shackle and make a new beginning. 1.Kirron Kher

Kirron Kher, one of the most popular and versatile actresses of Indian theatre, cinema and television, singer, entertainment producer, Tv show host and a member of Bharatiya Janata Party is one of the best examples of a strong woman who overcame her failed marriage and chose to love and marry again. She married a Mumbai-based businessman, Gautam Berry in March 1979 and had a son Sikandar who is now an actor. In 1985, when Anupam Kher, whom Kirron had known since her college days, got his break in films starting with Saaransh, she divorced Gautam Berry. In the same year Kirron and Anupam tied the knot.

2.Neelam Kothari

In October 2000, Neelam Kothari married Rishi Sethia, son of a rich businessman from U.K. Even though Rishi’s family had objections to this match, they went ahead and got hitched. But soon after their marriage saw a rough phase and they parted ways. Later, she was introduced to actor Samir Soni by their common friend Ekta Kapoor. Sameer had also just come out of a broken marriage with model Rajlakshmi Khanvilkar.They dated for around three years before tying the knot on January 2011 and have been together since then. Two years after their marriage the two have adopted a girl and named her Ahana.

Deepika Kakar a.k.a Simar from Sasural Simar ka was married to pilot Raunak Samson. They got married in 2012 but after 3 years got a divorce. The reason was not revealed but they separated while Dipika Kakar was working for Sasural Simar Ka. She met Shoaib on the sets of Sasural Simar ka where the two were an on-screen couple.In 2018, they finally decided to get married against odds. They had a small wedding ceremony in Bhopal with friends and family.

4.Neelima Azeem

The only actress to have made it to this list, Neelima Azeem is Shahid Kapoor’s biological mother. Her first marriage was with the veteran actor, Pankaj Kapur in 1975 which lasted till 1984, 3 years after Shahid was born. Her second marriage was with the actor, Rajesh Khattar, from 1990 to 2001. The couple has a son- Ishaan Khattar. Neelima's third marriage to Raza Ali Khan, lasted only five years (2004-2009)

Archana Puran Singh and ParmeetSethi’s love story is nothing less than a fairytale.
