In 2024, Fighter emerges as a Hindi-language action film under the direction of Siddharth Anand, co-authored by him alongside Ramon Chibb.
Deepika Padukone had an amazing 2023 thanks to Pathaan's popularity; nevertheless, her first release of the year in 2024 has also put her in the news. We are referring to the latest film directed by Siddharth Anand, Fighter, which also features Hrithik Roshan, Anil Kapoor, and Karan Singh Grover in the main roles. Fans have been amazed by Deepika and Hrithik's on-screen chemistry since the movie, which is their first joint venture.
It's interesting to note that Fighter premiered to positive reviews from critics and had a respectable opening day gross of Rs 22 crores at the box office. On the first day, it collected Rs 8.4 crores from advance bookings, and on the second day, there was a notable increase in the amount collected from advance bookings. A report states that on day two, Fighter earned Rs 13.12 crores.
And now that the trend is in place, Fighter is anticipated to continue to do well at the box office and experience an increase in advance booking over the opening weekend. In fact, according to preliminary reports, Fighter has already made Rs 3.55 crores, and that figure is probably going to rise throughout the day.

Hrithik has been nothing but kind towards Deepika since they worked together on Fighter, their first joint project. According to him, "With Deepika, it became really easy because she brings realism in her work, so I was consciously just bouncing off her bat; each line she says is coming from a deep place, and I could tell this is real, and if I don't maintain that I might look like I am overdoing things so I had to make sure I am acting that frequency and thanks to her every scene between Patty and Minni look so extremely vulnerable, extremely endearing and very very real".
The production is a collaboration between Viacom18 Studios and Marflix Pictures. Featuring an ensemble cast including Hrithik Roshan, Deepika Padukone, and Anil Kapoor, the movie marks the inaugural chapter in a prospective franchise dedicated to aerial action.
