Did you Know, Ranveer Singh Once Called Anushka Sharma his Girlfriend

Long time ago, in 2011, Ranveer Singh called Anushka Sharma his girlfriend, also rescued her when he was trying to flirt with Anushka.

We got an old interview, where Ranveer Singh, who is now married to Deepika Padukone, spoke of Anushka Sharma, wife of Indian cricket team captain Virat Kohli. In 2011, when a guy tried to flirt with Anushka Sharma, her co-star Ranveer came to her rescue. Ranveer had warned the flirtatious guy to mind his language and admitted that Anushka is his girlfriend. 

Ranveer walked up to the fan and said, 'Mind your language. She (Anushka) is my girlfriend. I will break your nose.' However, Ranveer and Anushka had never admitted to press or did any PDA on social media that they were dating. They always stated that they were 'just friends'. According to reports, both were together till Deepika made her entry. It is said that Deepika was one of the major reasons behind his breakup with Anushka. 

Ranveer and Anushka have done three films together - Band Baaja Baaraat, Ladies vs Ricky Bahl and Dil Dhadakne Do.
