Farhan Akhtar, who finished shooting for his next titled 120 Bahadur is a war film. The film is based on the battle of Rezang La during the Indo-China War in 1962. The film depicts how 120 Indian soldiers took over the Chinese intruders.

The film is directed by Razneesh Ghai aka Razy, who earlier helmed Kangana Ranaut's starrer Dhaakad. It is backed by Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani under their banner Excel Entertainment along with Amit Chandra's Trigger Happy Studios.

A close source reveals, "120 Bahadur is a mammoth project mounted on a heavy VFX. The makers did the bidding for the best VFX agency to come on board. They made sure that they wouldn't compromise the quality at any point. It is learned that the makers have zeroed in on an agency and have started the post-production work on the film."

With 120 Bahadur, the makers want to tribute Paramvir Chakra recipient Major Shaitan Singh Bhati. Farhan will essay the role of Major in the film. The film is slated to hit the screens on November 21st, 2025.
