In the first month of 2023, Indian cinema registered back-to-back blockbusters. Only a few big-budget films, like RRR, Pushpa, Gangubai Kathiawadi, and Kashmir Files, were successful last year. Both the South and Bollywood saw several failures, but it appears that January 2023 has brought a fresh glimmer. The majority of the films that were released within the first month did exceptionally well at the box office.

Thalapathy Vijay’s Varisu is the second-highest-grosser on his list

The box office earnings for Varisu, starring Thalapathy Vijay and Rashmika Mandanna, have surpassed 300 crores. After Mersal, the Tamil movie is Thalapathy Vijay's second-highest-grossing movie of all time. Vamshi Paidipally is the film's director, and Dil Raju is the producer. On February 22, the movie will have its Amazon Prime Video debut.

Thunivu became a hit

Upcoming Films expected to be a blockbuster hit
