Janhvi Kapoor Went To Tirupati Balaji Temple On The Occasion Of Sridevi's Birthday Anniversary!!!

Today, on August 13, Janhvi Kapoor celebrated her mother Sri Devi's 61st Birthday. She has persisted this yearly custom of visiting the famous Tirupati Balaji shrine on the anniversary of her mother's birth. Apparently, Sridevi used to often visit Tirupati Balaji, therefore it has a special place in the hearts of the family. Afetr her demise, Janhvi made it her mission to continue the custom, and in the recent years, her boyfriend Shikhar Pahariya also joined her.

This time it was Janhvi fourth trip to Tirupati this year. The couple was spotted earlier today visiting the temple wearing traditional clothes. Shikhar was seen wearing a white veshti with golden borders, while Jahnvi wore a teal and sun yellow brocade silk saree with temple gold jewelry and looking absolutely beautiful.

The the occassion of the 61st anniversary of Sridevi's birthday, Janhvi Kapoor shared a photo of her trip on Instagram. She posted a photograph of the stairs, an old photo of Sridevi and Janhvi, and a current photo showing of the actress visiting temple. She captioned it, "Happy birthday, Mumma, I love you."

Boney Kapoor, also shared a photo on his social media with the caption, "Happy birthday, my Jaan." Khushi Kapoor, the actress's youngest daughter, shared a photo of herself on Instagram with her mother and Janhvi.

The actress revealed in an interview with Curly Tales earlier this year how she has recently developed a spiritual bent. "Over the last five to six years, I have developed a strong spiritual inclination. My faith and religion, and especially Lord Balaji, provide me with solace. I have an inner calling that instructs me to go to Tirupati, ascend the steps, and seek the auspicious sight of the god, and that calling is jab bulawa aata hai",said Janhvi.

About Janhvi Kapoor work front, she was most recently seen in Bollywood movie Ulajh alongside Gulshan Devaiah, Meiyang Chang and it was directed by Sudhanshu Saria. Though the movie did not do well in the box office, but audience praised Jahnvi's acting. Currently, she is preparing for the release of Devara: Part 1, her Telugu debut.
