Junaid Khan All Set To Perform At NCPA!!!
Aamir Khan's son Junaid Khan had surprised everyone with a strong debut by going OTT with Maharaj. The audience loved him in the role and also to his portrayal of Karsandas Mulji. The series was directed by Siddharth P. Malhotra and it was releasd on Netflix. After the success of his debut the star is now decided to surrender all of his energy to the projects that he had planned. Recently, the news come where it was stated that Junaid Khan will be appearing in a play at the NCPA (National Centre for the Performing Arts) theater, despite his busy schedule.
Being superstar Aamir Khan's son people assumed him to have a grand big screen debut but he choose to make OTT debut with a much stronger loss. He spent more than seven years sharpen his acting abilities in theater before making his big debut. It really changed the way all the star child conventional way of choosing a Bollywood debut but without saying that his background has had a big impact on his on-screen character.
As per reports, Junaid has a busy shooting schedule, but he nevertheless he is trying to make time to prepare for a play that opens on September 1 at the NCPA theater. Although more details regarding the program and his role is yet to come, and all of his fans are eagerly waiting to see him perform in real life. A close source of Junaid has also revealed that, "Junaid demonstrates extraordinary devotion to his craft. Even with his packed schedule of back-to-back shoots, he always finds time for rehearsals and doesn't skip his NCPA play performance."
About his debut "Maharaj"
Maharaj is basically a period drama film directed by Siddharth P. Malhotra that tells the tale of Karsandas Mulji who was a social reformer who has been searching for explanations about social norms and rituals and questioned everything from a early age. As he gets older, he get to know in contact with of a religious figure by the name of JJ who is abusing women sexually by pretending them that they will be saved from any bad influence. The show is currently streaming on Netflix and was released in June 2024.
Regarding Junaid Khan's work
Junaid already has a few projects in the works in the future. First, he will be seen with Sai Pallavi in an untitled movie that was filmed in Japan's serene countryside.The film aims to show the picturesque scenery of Sapporo, a place that has never been viewed by anyone on the big screen. This movie's shooting has been already finished. And the next upcoming film of Junaid is with Khushi Kapoor, they will be starring together in a romantic comedy film directed by Advait Chandan.
