Aashiqui 3

Kartik will soon be seen in Aashiqui 3, a romantic musical directed by Anurag Basu. The film will also feature Sree Leela, and marks the first collaboration between Aaryan and Basu. Untitled Film with Sandeep Modi

In association with Dharma Productions, Kartik Aaryan will headline a patriotic drama directed by Sandeep Modi. Slated for release on August 15, 2025 — India’s Independence Day — this film is set against the backdrop of a historic and valorous chapter of Indian history. Kartik shared his excitement on social media, calling the project a deeply personal one, and expressed pride in teaming up with Modi, Karan Johar, and Ektaa Kapoor for the venture.

Tu Meri Main Tera, Main Tera Tu Meri

Another romantic story is on the cards for Kartik Aaryan with this uniquely titled project directed by Sameer Vidwans. Aashiqui had its inception in 1990, with the leads being Rahul Roy and Anu Aggarwal, followed by a blockbuster second part in 2013, with Aditya Roy Kapur and Shraddha Kapoor as leads. The third sequel promises that the legacy of love and music will definitely be carried forward.

Naagzilla

Venturing into comedy, Kartik will star in Naagzilla, directed by Fukrey fame Mrighdeep Singh Lamba. The film is expected to blend humor with quirky storytelling. While plot details are being kept under tight wraps, it’s scheduled for an August 14, 2026 release, and promises a light-hearted entertainer in contrast to Kartik’s more intense roles.

Pati Patni Aur Woh 2

After the commercial success of Pati Patni Aur Woh (2019), director Mudassar Aziz is set to return with its sequel. Kartik Aaryan will reprise his role, alongside Bhumi Pednekar and Ananya Panday. According to Aziz, the sequel will offer a fresh perspective with a sharper focus on the woman’s viewpoint while maintaining the humor of the original. The release date has not yet been announced.
