When her husband discovers that she is having an extramarital affair with her boyfriend Umesh Pillai, Swathi Shetty, an aspiring cook and current housewife, finds herself in a bad situation. When the inevitable occurs in the heat of the moment, Swathi appears to find solace in the similarity of the men's facial characteristics. Killer Soup is expanded upon with a few more people and their branched issues and resolutions, making it a comparatively entertaining film.
'Killer Soup' opens Mainjur by introducing the Shetty family, which consists of Swathi and Prabhakar. One morning as Prabhu wakes up, Swathi, who wants to be a cook, makes trotter soup. Even though Prabhu loves to cook, he has doubts about her business ideas. The story develops as Swathi's ambitions to own a restaurant are made clear by her covert culinary instruction. As Prabhu reminds her of their different backgrounds, tensions increase.
At the conclusion of Killer Soup, they learn that Umesh Pillai was not the person buried there. Hassan discovered the store where Swathi had purchased the acid she used to disfigure Umesh's face while conducting his investigation along the city's periphery. Hassan learns about the duo from the shopkeeper and eventually deduces that Swathi Shetty has been out and about with Umesh Pillai, purchasing the strongest acid on the market. Hassan and his devoted constable Asha head to Swathi's residence, where her restaurant is having its grand opening, with the intention of confronting and apprehending the woman.
But when Umesh unintentionally eats too many of the wild mushroom powder that Khansama had used to make the soup, things at this event go worse. Consequently, the man enters a semi-drugged state and comes clean about who he really is. However, Umesh coughs up a lot of blood due to the mushroom—which is deadly if taken in high quantities—before the cops can act. Using the distraction, Swathi manages to get out of the party as Hassan and the other police officers there rush in to assist Umesh and get him into a car.
Before Hassan can get to her and arrest her, Swathi heads to the closest cliffside and leaps off, taking her own life. Before Umesh and Swathi are seen reconciling on a bus leaving Mainjur in the film Killer Soup's closing scenes, he is also missing from the police car. However, as this is undoubtedly the world of the dead and where the two lovers are finally reunited, this bus is not just for leaving the city but also for leaving reality. In his final seconds, Umesh must have crawled out of the automobile, but he will undoubtedly pass away very soon. The only other person seen in this eerily vacant world, ASI Thupalli, indicates that this is unquestionably the fictional realm of the dead as the two lovers finally embark on their dream of a new life together.
