Know About All The Dogs Of MS Dhoni

Former India captain MS Dhoni rarely posts about his personal life on social media platforms. But when he does, it creates a storm across the internet. A few days ago, fans showered wishes on him on his 42nd birthday, with Dhoni posting an adorable video celebrating the occasion with his beloved dogs.
People praised "Captain Cool" for his humble attitude towards life in general. He simply cuts the cake himself, surrounded only by obedient and disciplined dogs.
As the video progresses, the Chennai Super Kings captain is seen sharing the cake equally among all the dogs, one for each, before eating it. The dogs also patiently queue up in front of their owners. They devour the cake without bothering each other, clearly showing their confidence that they will not be discriminated against.
MS Dhoni's Dogs
MS Dhoni's extended family includes his wife Sakshi Dhoni and daughter Ziva, along with a total of five dogs. The pack includes two Belgian Malinois (one of which is named Sam), two white huskies (Lily and Gabbar) and a Dutch shepherd (Zoya).
The dogs are often spotted in the grasslands of Dhoni's seven-acre farmhouse along the ring road in the Indian city of Ranchi (Dhoni's hometown). In fact, there is a separate training area set up for the pets on the lawn. Ziva and Dhoni himself also play with them in their free time.
Sam – Belgian Malinois
As Dhoni mentioned in his Instagram post, Sam is Dhoni’s personal favourite player. As the name suggests, this particular breed comes from the European country of Belgium. What is special about the Belgian Malinois is that they are usually very intelligent, loyal, active, hardworking and love different types of physical activities. These traits make the breed well suited for police and military operations.
Named after the town of Malin (Belgium), the Malinois proves to be an excellent companion that builds a loving bond with its owner. As per reports on various websites, Belgian Malinois can be purchased at prices ranging from INR 60,000 to INR 75,000 depending on the pedigree.
Lily and Gabbar – White Huskies
White Huskies are known for their gentle and playful nature towards children, as well as their beauty and strength. The two white Huskies mentioned by Dhoni are the descendants of the Siberian Husky breed. Siberian Huskies get along well with animals and people. His notable feature is that he is also friendly towards visitors. Therefore, he is not a good guard dog. According to reliable websites, the price of a Siberian Husky starts from INR 10,000 for a puppy and goes up to INR 20,000 for a two-year-old Husky.
Zoya – Dutch Shepherd
Just like Sam, Zoya also loves training and other physical activities. Originating from the Netherlands, this Dutch Shepherd is characterized by its friendly nature, making it an ideal family pet. This breed does not do well being alone for long periods of time, which is one of the reasons why they get along well with other dog breeds. The price of a puppy of this breed ranges from INR 1,000 to INR 2,500, while a trained dog can cost up to INR 20,000 depending on the pedigree.
