NETFLIX has greenlighted Second Edition of its anthology 'LUST STORIES' which will be produced by RONNIE SCREWVALA and ASHI DUA under their banners RSVP MOVIES and FLYING UNICORN ENTERTAINMENT.
Titled 'LUST STORIES 2', the producers along with Netflix executives have decided NOT TO RETAIN the original directors quartet for the second edition of the anthology and will replace ZOYA AKHTAR, ANURAG KASHYAP, DIBAKAR BANERJEE and KARAN JOHAR with KONKONA SEN SHARMA, R BALKI and AMIT RAVINDRANATH SHARMA as the creators of this edition.
'LUST STORIES 2' is expected to go on floors in mid-2022 with KONKANA currently working on a NETFLIX show with MANOJ BAJPAYEE, BALKI working on wrapping CHUP as well as will complete his film with ABHISHEK BACHCHAN - SAIYAMI KHER before starting to work on this anthology. AMIT SHARMA, on the other hand, has to wrap up MAIDAAN as well as the Hindi Remake of 'THE INTERN' starring DEEPIKA PADUKONE and AMITABH BACHCHAN.
