Ranveer Singh Asks NCB To Let Him Join Deepika Padukone During Her Probe

Deepika Padukone has been summoned by the NCB in a drug case related to the death of SSR. She was shooting for Shakun Batra’s film with Ananya Pandey and Siddhant Chaturvedi in Goa, was accompanied by Ranveer Singh. Media sources have informed that in a big move, Ranveer has asked the central anti-drug agency whether he can be present during his wife’s questioning.

In Ranveer’s application to the NCB, he has stated that Deepika sometimes suffers from anxiety and gets panic attacks; hence he should be granted permission to be with her. Ranveer has stated that he is a law-abiding citizen and knows that he cannot be present at the time of the questioning but is understood to have requested that he be allowed inside the NCB office.

However, no decision has been taken by the NCB on his application. Deepika is set to appear before the NCB on September 26, along with Sara Ali Khan and Shraddha Kapoor.
