Shehnaaz Gill Says Salman Khan Giving her Film Break Doesn’t Mean ‘Everything’s Sorted’: ‘If you are an outsider, dhakke khaane padhte hain’

Shehnaaz Gill’s Photoshoot Rules Social Media

As we all know, Shehnaaz Gill is a Bigg Boss fame and she will be soon seen in Salman Khan's film, Kisika Bhai Kisiki Jaan. Life is not a viral tweet and a career in Bollywood is not a cakewalk. Shehnaaz enjoys quite a loyal internet fan following, she revealed that just because she is debuting with Salman's Eid release doesn't mean she will be a rising star.

She started her career with modeling and started doing Punjabi films, what changed her life was when she joined the Bigg Boss show in 2019. Shehnaaz didn't win the Bigg Boss season but became one of the most loved and popular contestant of the season. Like she said on the Kapil Sharma Show that her payment in the show was nothing, she was the cheapest constestant of the season who came out as the most expensive one. She became a household name after the show.

It was her childhood dream to pursue acting but her journey wasn't a bed of roses. It actually started with a hurtful rejection which had pushed her to tears earlier in her career. “When I look back, I feel destiny can change anytime. How foolish is it to call someone on set and then reject them. If you want to reject, do it before, not when the person is already there. They said, ‘Oh she is a kid, how can we take her.’ It hurt me. Now when they would listen to this… Main haath nahi aani, ab toh main bohot badi hogayi hu, apni nazron mein. Today I feel rejections should be accepted, it’s ok.”
She also said that it is her big realisation that acting isn't an easy job as people think. It demands hard work, dedication, passion and a never giving up spirit specially if one is an outsider. “People casually say, ‘We want to be an actor’. There are so many women, people who feel it is easy but it is not. It is a difficult task, it requires tremendous hard work to enter the industry. Bohot dhakke khaane padege agar tum outsider ho toh. If you have the talent, if you are unique, then you can go ahead. My personality was unique, so main nikal gayi.”

We wish her goodluck for her film and her journey.
