Sooraj Pancholi's Kesari Veer Pushed Stalled Project Hawa Singh?

Sooraj Pancholi's films have always met an ill fate at the box office despite being launched by superstar Salman Khan in Hero in 2015. But, Sooraj never got his due. In 2020, the actor announced his ambitious project, Hawa Singh.
The film is based on the life of a legendary boxer. John Abraham was the first choice but Sooraj bagged the film. Salman launched the first-look poster of the film.
In the poster, Sooraj is seen sipping a glass of milk in the boxing ring. Soon after, the film was stalled due to legal matters and an internal tiff between the producers, Kamlesh Kushwaha and Sam Fernandes.
Kamlesh held Sam for making false claims to get Salman's banner on board as a co-producer and also get him to dance in a special number. Sam has denied all his allegations. Post which, Sam got busy with his other project LOST.
Since then, Sooraj has been waiting to start the film. There were a few reports that Sooraj's drowning career was one of the reasons to put the film on the back burner.
Sooraj's recent release Kesari Veer that received a lukewarm reception at the box office. Since the film got wings to Sooraj's slow career, there are rumours doing the rounds that the makers of Hawa Singh are planning to revive the project this year.
If Hawa Singh comes into action, it might reignite Sooraj's career.
