A fan of actor Sushant Singh Rajput penned a letter stating that the actor's sister, Shweta Singh Kirti, wasn't doing enough to get him justice. Shweta reacted to the fan on Facebook, emphasizing the part in which he stated that a few people were only "putting up an act" to seek justice for him.

Shweta Singh Kirti recently wrote a mysterious remark after Sushant's previous girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty disclosed in an interview that he has mental health issues such as depression. A fan sent a message in reaction to her article.

Shweta uploaded a few candid photos of Sushant Singh Rajput on Facebook with the description, "Blaming the person who has passed on... who can't defend himself anymore." I'm curious what you'll say to your conscience! My Bhai had a pure heart, and his spirit lives on in the hearts of millions. We don't feel compelled to say anything since others can sense the truth. Bhai was, is, and always will be our pride! Every heart has been moved by the love he has inspired. Will never perish!! We shall fight tirelessly for his justice. #justiceforSushant #sushantsinghrajput."

"Yes, we love SSR and will always love it." But battling for his justice now appears to be simply a cliche! What specific efforts are we doing to bring the now-idle lying case of SSR to a close? Are we looking for updates? Are we writing to the Prime Minister? Is the media exerting any pressure on us? Do we intend to file any other lawsuits? Are we making any progress in discovering the truth? The answer is emphatically no. This is regrettable. "Now I see pockets that only want to cash in on SSR's legacy and nothing else," he wrote.

"We worked very hard to acquire the CBI... What else are we capable of? Is there anything tangible we can do? When the best of India is working on this matter," Shweta said.

On June 14, 2020, Sushant Singh Rajput was discovered hanged at his apartment in the Bandra suburbs. A parallel investigation into Chakraborty's potential drug purchase based on her WhatsApp conversations began after Rajput's parents filed a lawsuit against her for alleged suicide abetment.
