Several media outlets claimed on Wednesday that Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Heera Mandi is being reshot because the maverick filmmaker is unhappy with some of the footage that has been shot so far. It was also rumored that SLB will take over the project as a director, as opposed to being on board for only two of the most critical episodes. However, we have discovered that the reports of reshooting are false.

 

According to a source, there will be no reshoots for Heera Mandi.

According to people close to the development, Sanjay Leela Bhansali is pleased with the way Heera Mandi is shaping up, and everything is now proceeding according to plan. "There is no truth to these malicious rumours." There will be no reshoots. "SLB is a perfectionist who obsesses over details, but he is very happy with everything," an insider claimed. Sonakshi Sinha, Richa Chaddha, Manisha Koirala, Aditi Rao Hydari, and Sanjeeda Sheikh star alongside many others in the ensemble in Heera Mandi.

After completing Heera Mandi, Sanjay Leela Bhansali will go on to his next big-screen project, which will be either Inshallah or Baiju Bawra. The director hopes to begin his next project by mid-2024 and will begin planning by the end of the current year.
