Kabir Singh was the second highest grosser of 2019. The movie bought a huge took off in the careers of both Shahid and Kiara. But did you know who the first choice was for Preeti in the movie?

Well yes! Kiara wouldn’t have got the role if Tara didn’t say no to it. In an interview, Tara revealed that she had t give up Kabir Singh since its schedule was clashing with her debut movie.

Tara stated, “It’s a remake of a hit film (Telugu blockbuster Arjun Reddy) so it was bound to do well. As a woman, a human being and an artist, I know have a certain social responsibility, but as artists, we also have a certain artistic freedom and the right to express as we please. It’s on the audience as to how they interpret that. Personally, I am a fan of both Arjun Reddy and Kabir Singh.”
