One year has passed since the premiere of the crime drama web series Dahaad, which stars Sonakshi Sinha and Vijay Varma. The show, which is directed by the gifted team of Reema Kagti and Ruchika Oberoi, centres on a police officer's chase of a serial killer through Rajasthan's rural areas.
As the story progresses, it becomes clear that Vijay Varma's character, an apparently modest instructor, is the murderer. Vijay recently posted a number of images from the set with the description, "One year of Dahaad." We are really appreciative of this show and happy that it brought us so much love and recognition. We are quite proud of this programme, so it seems fitting that we celebrate its first anniversary with all of you. The audience is responsible for the show's success”.
A number of images from the production were uploaded on Tiger Baby's official Instagram feed. "Celebrating 1 Year Of Dahaad '' was the caption that went with the photo series. May is a very amazing month for me, Sonakshi Sinha said after sharing the Tiger Baby photo on her Instagram account. Sonakshi Sinha is now basking in the praise for Heeramandi. I have to admit. Well done, team Dahaad! Sonakshi made their online debut with this series.
Dahaad, which was masterfully crafted by Reema Kagti and Zoya Akhtar, explores the compelling story of Sub-inspector Anjali Bhaati's inquiry into a series of killings that are happening in public restrooms. The fatalities, which were initially thought to be suicides, take a terrifying turn when Anjali Bhaati finds proof of a malevolent serial killer who is at large.
On May 12, 2023, Dahaad series debuted on Prime Video. Sonakshi played the title character in the series, Anjali Bhaati, while Vijay Varma did a fantastic job portraying the serial killer, Anand Swarnakar. Notable performers Jayati Bhatia, Gulshan Devaiah, Zoa Morani, Sohum Shah, and others also had important roles.
