Top 10 Doll Horror Movies Till 2023

Are you a horror movies fan? Well, there are many types of horror films one of which includes dolls. Dolls creep out a lot of people. There are many theories about it on why this happens. Maybe its because movies have taught us that if a doll comes into our life it is to kill us. Today let us talk about some of such films. 

1. Blood Dolls 

It is a low budget, goofy horror film which has been writen, directed and produced by Charles Band. The movie is shows a wealthy madman with a tiny head. The man’s quest has a  never-ending death and torture, he creates a trio of murderous dolls that would kill anyone who had wronged him. The dolls are named Ms. Fortune, Sideshow, and Pimp, and they are mute caricatures that play a small role in the unhinged wackiness of the overall film. 

2. Papi Gudia 

It is a remake of Child'd Play in India. The story and scenes are almost same the things which are different is that it is 40 minutes longer, has less tension and the doll is less animated. There are a lot of songs and dances in the film. You won't have the actual experience of it until the characters sing and dance. 

3. Dolly Dearest 

It is the story of a wife and mother who moves to Mexico as her husband buys a doll factory. There is a demonic force which resides within the factory dolls. As the daughter took one of the dolls, her personality starts changing as the doll starts possing her. 

4. Demonic Toys 

A arrest goes poorly and the wounded criminal ends up in a warehouse full of toys. The man's blood awakens a group of demon-possed toys and all of them go on a muderous rampage. 

5. Dolls 

It is the story of a young girl who is forced to live in an elderly couple's house with her father and stepmother due to shelter. There were some other people as well and all of them discovered that there are various dolls throughout the house. The couple had the motive to make them stay and later that night, the dolls started attacking them. 

6. Bride of Chunky 

This movie was a life to the franchise of Child Play. The lovely character of Tiffany has been introduced here. Chunky and Tiffany are former lovers who travel to find an amulet that will allow them to tranfer their souls into bodies. 

7. Tales from the Hood

There are around four segments in the film. It is kind of different, the third segment involves a racist senator who sets up an office in an old plantation house as he campaigns for governor. The senator quickly regrets his decision to work in the plantation house when the slaves who lived and died there posses numerous dolls who come to life and get bloody revenge for their suffering.

8. Annabelle : Creation 

It is one of the most recognised killer dolls in the industry. The character first appeared in Conjuring and later got her own franchise. The dolls threatens and kills everyone in the house. 

9. Suddenly in the Dark 

It is south korean film with an unsettled doll's scars. The lady get's a housemaid and later questions her intentions as she has disturbing visions involving the maid's doll. 

10. Child' Play 

Chunky is one of the most popular doll characters in the industry.  While later entries in the franchise were more explicit with the comedy and gore, Child’s Play acknowledges the ridiculousness of the concept while still providing a genuinely tense and frightening film.
