While Bollywood celebrities appear to be friendly & affable on camera, people are always curious to find out if they are equally good when there are no cameras around.

OI spoke to some industry insiders who have worked with several Bollywood celebs for ads, web series & movies. This is what they had to say about your favorite celebs

1) Ananya Panday

Unlike her perception of being a bratty star kid, she is very chilled out. She is very down-to-earth & is easy to work with. Our source who has worked with her for an ad, was very happy with how she spoke to him & his crew. Don't go by her tone-deaf comments in interviews. Looks like that article which went viral & had quoted her school friends was a product of jealousy. 

2) Kareena Kapoor

As per a source, she is very dedicated to her craft & is very easygoing. You may imagine that Poo will have her share of tantrums, but the reality is quite the opposite. She throws no tantrums while at work. Our source's take on Kareena Kapoor is quite different from what Infosys Chairman Narayana Murthy had to say.

3) Tamannah Bhatia

This South superstar who is enjoying her success in web series, is a pain to work with. She interferes in every aspect of the shoot. She will dictate terms when it comes to camera placement & shots. She will even hijack the editing! A shoot that shouldn't take more than 10 minutes ended up taking 2 hours to finish.

4) Awez Darbar

He is just a social media star but thinks he is as big as Salman Khan. He comes to the shoot with his entourage & like top stars will make his body double shoot for close-ups which doesn't require him to show his face.

5) Mrunal Thakur

She is very professional & does what is told. But she is very insistent on the camera placement & lighting. But overall a pleasant person to work with.

6) Yami Gautam

She is a complete pain to work with. A source who has worked with her for an ad told us that her tantrums are never-ending & she is a very difficult person to work. Another technician too told us that she is very difficult & would rather never work with her again.

7) Malaika Arora

She is a complete introvert. She sticks to herself & doesn't interact with anyone on set. She quietly does her work & leaves. She has no airs or starry tantrums but her manager is a pain to deal with.

8) Sonu Sood

He too is very likable & will speak to everyone on set. But will politely insist on camera placement, lighting, etc.

9) Shahrukh Khan

He is a complete delight to work with. He is every ad filmmaker's dream. He will enact a single scene in 10 different ways. He will himself suggest different concepts for the ad he is shooting. The story of how he bagged the Tag Heuer brand endorsement deal is part of ad filmmaking folklore - he practively shot & ad for Tag Heuer, shared it with the marketing team when the brand had decided to enter India. The rest as they say is history. He will smoke like a chimney.

10) Naseeruddin Shah

He is a hash & marijuana addict. When he is in front of the camera an assitant will hold his lit hand rolled joint which is filled with marijuana. As soon as the shot is over, he will take the  joinf from the assistant & start smoking it again!

11) Ranveer Singh

A friend met Ranveer Singh at a wedding. He happily posed for selfies & made my friend feel special by asking his name, wishing him well, shaking his hand before leaving. 

12) Ayushmann Khurrana

A friend who saw him at YRF Studios post the release of Dum Laga Ke Haisha was not happy with the way Ayushmnann behaved. Ayushmann behaved liked he is a superstar & made a face assuming that my friend will ask for a selfie. Other sources who have worked with Ayushmann too termed him as difficult
