We always hope and want happy ending in the story. But there are a lot of stories which don't have a happy ending. Usually, Bollywood has happy ending films but now we see a lot of stories which end with a tragedy or something sad. Well, there is nothing wrong in this but it can be impactful and be in your head for a while but ya, it also makes the stories a bit realistic. We all know, everything can't always be good or end well and this is now depicted in our Bollywood films as well. 1. Rockstar
It is the story of JJ. He decides to chase his dreams and become a rockstar. The film shows his journey and love life. This movie has a lot of emotions, if you are following your passion despites the barriers in the world you will be able to connect to the story. It also has some really good songs.
2. Devdas
We all have watched this film atleast once right? This is an ultimate love story. It is the story of a law graduate who returns from London to marry his love but his family refuses and he turns into an alcoholic. You will find a lot of drama and good songs in the film.
3. Raanjhanaa
It is one of my favourite films. It stars Dhanush and Sonam Kapoor. The film shows the story of a small town boy who falls in love with his childhood neighbour. The girl goes to the city for her education and when she returns she is all changed and doesn't recognise the boy. The movie shows the different divisions in the society due to caste and money.
4. Ram Leela
This is a Sanjay Leela Bhansali film starring Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone. It shows the old times when there were divisions in the states. It shows the love story of lover from opposite reigns who could never meet.
5. Tere Naam
This film is famous for its title song. It is one of the best performances by Salman. The film shows the story of a lover who evolves some mental illness as he loses his love of the life. It has a really tragic end.
6. Vaastav
I like Sanjay Dutt's performance in this film a lot. It is the story of a young, small town, poor boy who tries hard to earn money. Ultimately, he gets into some bad deeds and becomes a don. He later struggles with the things he does and how he hurts families and at the end he is killed by his mother for releasing his soul from the guilt.
7. Kal Ho Na Ho
This is one of the longest films I have watched. I love the character of SRK, how he brings hapiness and makes everyone around him happy despite his disease. There is a situation of love triangle between Saif, Preeti and SRK. The film has a very sad ending.
