You can watch this one on Amazon Prime. It stars Malyalam favourite superhero, Fahadh Fassil. This is Pothan and Faasil’s third collaboration after the acclaimed successes Maheshinte Prathikaaram, also written by Pushkaran, and Thondimuthalum Driksakshiyum.

3. Sherni 

It's the story of a government official who just wants to perform her duties correctly. But she is stuck in local politics, ground realities and inefficiency of the bureaucratic machine. Vidya Balan plays a restraining role as a forest officer. 

4. Meel Patthar 

We can watch this film on Netflix. It’s a bleak, desolate world out there for workaholic truck driver Ghalib and his young protege Pash, as they drive towards an uncertain future while economic precarity looms large. As the lonely and world-weary Ghalib, Suvinder Vicky’s face and gait carries the weight of the world in Ivan Ayr’s existential drama.

5. Nayattu 

It's the story of three men who run to save themselves as they killed someone who belonged to a powerful group. The bottom line is to stick to the orders it means doing the right thing even if it means sacrificing one's life or career.

Dhanush plays the lead clashing with rich neighbours. There's a drive for justice in the film.
